ArmInfo. The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia is trying to solve the problem of residents of the regions of Armenia bordering Azerbaijan who cannot take advantage of the housing purchase program. ArmInfo.The Central Bank of Armenia has revised its GDP growth forecast for 2025 from the previous range of 7-4.5% to a new range of 5.1-4.6% (compared to the actual 5.9% growth in 2024). The Central Bank has also adjusted its GDP growth forecast for 2026, now anticipating a slowdown to 4.9-4.4%, instead of the previous 4.7-7% (depending on the inflation trajectory).

The Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, Martin Galstyan, made this statement during a press conference on June 17, when responding to journalists questions about the potential impact of the escalation of the Iran-Israel conflict on  the stability of Armenia's banking system.

ArmInfo. In 2025 and in the coming years, we will gradually reduce the rate of increase of domestic debt in the total government debt. This was stated by the Minister of Finance of Armenia Vahe Hovhannisyan on June 17 from the rostrum of  the parliament, answering a question from the member of the ruling faction "Civil Contract", deputy head of the standing committee of the National Assembly Babken Tunyan.

This was reported by the press service of the Tourism Committee, citing the results of the meeting between the head of the Armenian Tourism Department Lusine Gevorgyan  and the Charge d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Armenia, head of the mission Ali Abdulkarem Utavi.
