ArmInfo.  Artificial intelligence (AI) will not replace  people, but rather  those who  don't use AI.  Mariam Hambardzumyan, co-founder of the investment  company TCF, expressed a similar viewpoint during a panel discussion  "HR: The Role of Human Potential in the Second Quarter of the 21st  Century - a New Era of the Relevance of the Tasks at Hand,"  being  held as part of the International PLUS Forum FinnoWay Armenia 2025.

ArmInfo. The results of the first Junius Financial Literacy Competition have finally been announced. Nine students from grades 3 to 8 took the top three places and were invited to Idram to receive their prizes — ranging from board games and a bicycle to musical instruments, cameras, and gadgets.

ArmInfo.  Starting in 2026, electronic employment contracts will become mandatory for  employers and employees upon hiring and firing. The platform may also  be implemented this year on a voluntary basis, according to the State  Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia.  This means that, starting next  year, the conclusion, termination, and modification of employment  contracts will be carried out exclusively through a digital platform.

Twelve beneficiary families were awarded  grants ranging from 300,000 to 1,000,000 drams to implement their  business ideas.

ArmInfo.  Armenia will increase the state duty on imported metal rebar from 29 times the base duty to 55 times the base duty. The National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia will discuss amendments to the law "On State  Duty" proposed by MPs Sergey Bagratyan and Narek Ghahramanyan in the  first reading at its plenary session on November 11.

ArmInfo. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with Prince Saud bin Sultan Al Saud, Director of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF), during  a working visit to Riyadh. Papoyan announced this on his Facebook  account.

ArmInfo.  To further develop Kazakh-Armenian cooperation in digitalization and artificial intelligence, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Armenia, Bolat Imanbayev,  met with Gevorg Mantashyan, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech  Industry of Armenia.

Armenia's information and telecommunications technology (ICT) sector saw an increase in revenue by 21% in the first nine months (compared to a  0.3% decline the previous year), reaching AMD 886 billion ($2.279 billion),  according to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. Armenia's service sector accelerated its annual growth from 5.9% to 9.9% in January-September 2025, exceeding AMD 2.9 trillion ($7.5 billion).   In September alone, the volume of provided services decreased by 2% to AMD 353 billion ($921.8 million).

ArmInfo.  Armenia's trade sector revenue slowed from 19.5% to 3.5% in January-September 2025, amounting to 4.7 trillion drams ($12.1 billion). According to  the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, trade turnover  in Armenia decreased by 1.3% in September of this year, reaching  583.5 billion drams ($1.5 billion).

ArmInfo.  The supply of Kazakh grain to Armenia is an example of food diplomacy, as stated by Tobylbek Omarov, Managing Director of JSC NC Food Corporation,  according to the company's press service.

ArmInfo.  Armenia's telecommunications sector revenue in January-September 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, increased by 2.5% (versus 3.1% growth a  year earlier), reaching 126.7 billion drams,  according to data from  the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Armenia's metallurgy sector saw an average production decline of 10% in the  first nine months of 2025 (compared to a 7% increase the previous  year ).  According to data from the RA Statistics Committee, this  decline was mainly due to  a deterioration in copper and molybdenum  concentrate production, with ferromolybdenum output also seeing a  continued decline.

ArmInfo. Cargo transportation in Armenia in January- September 2025 increased by  1.6% compared to the same period in 2024,  reaching 12,236.3  tons.   Meanwhile, passenger transportation decreased by 2.4% during the  reporting period (versus a 19.8% increase a year earlier), reaching  173,195.3 people, as evidenced by data from the Statistical Committee  of the Republic of Armenia.
