ArmInfo. From March 31 to April 4, 2025, Armenian interbank foreign exchange market saw daily dollar transactions and only two ruble transactions, with no euro transactions recorded. This led to a shift in the weekly trend, with transactions going from a 31% increase to an 18% decline, while ruble transactions continued to decline, albeit at a slower rate from 30.3% to 17.4%. As a result, dollar transactions remained dominant over ruble transactions for the week with a 2.5 higher volume. In the intra-bank foreign exchange market during the reporting week (31.03-04.04.25 compared to 24-28.03.25) there was no increase in dollar purchases along with a decrease in sales, while euro grew despite a slower decline in sales. Ruble transactions saw a faster decline in purchases and an increase in sales compared to the previous week.
