ArmInfo. Currently, insurance is applied in Armenia for 13 types of plants under four types of risks. This was announced at a press conference on March 28 by Ira  Panosyan, Head of the Department for the Development of Agricultural  Programs of the RA Ministry of Economy.

ArmInfo. Armenia's economic growth  rate is slowing down rapidly.  This  conclusion was reached by   experts of the Luys Foundation after analyzing the socio-economic  development of the Armenian economy in January-February 2025.   According to the Foundation experts, the slowdown is mainly due to  external factors being neutralized, leading to an increase in  re-exports and contributing to a rise in the Economic Activity Index  (EAI).  In February, the growth rate of the EAI was only 1.5%, which  is concerning. If these trends persist, annual economic growth will  be significantly low.

ArmInfo. Armenia's membership in the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are mutually unacceptable, as stated by the official representative of the Russian  Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a weekly briefing on March  27. The diplomat mentioned that the Russian side has expressed its  position on the European integration processes initiated by the  Armenian authorities at various levels.

ArmInfo. Moscow will have to reconsider the entire range of economic relations with Yerevan if Armenia joins the European Union (EU). This was stated to journalists  by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk.

ArmInfo. From 24 June 2025 Jazeera Airways will start operating flights on the route Kuwait-Yerevan-Kuwait. Flights will be operated 3 times a week: every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, "Armenia" International Airports" CJSC.

Even if we overlook the high interest rates on the 5th tranche of Armenian Eurobonds, their placement could only be deemed  if they were used to  improve and modernize the economic structure, rather than to cover  the budget deficit, as stated by Vardan Bostanjyan, Doctor of  Economics and Professor at Yerevan State University, in an interview  with ArmInfo.

ArmInfo.  Armenia and Hong Kong, a Special Administrative Region of China, will cooperate on matters concerning the prevention of double taxation and  tax  evasion.  The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia ratified  the relevant draft agreement at a plenary session on March 26.

ArmInfo. The ruling Civil Contract faction in Armenia failed to vote on the amendments to the law on state pensions submitted by the opposition Armenia faction.  Only 32 parliamentarians voted for the adoption of the document, with  58 against and 1 abstention.
