ArmInfo. February 17-21, 2025, in Armenia's interbank foreign exchange market daily USD and two RUB transactions were effected, with no EUR transactions effected. However, despite the rare appearance of ruble transactions during the week, their total volume was only slightly lower than dollar transactions. USD transactions showed a decline from 46% to 26%, while the RUB transactions showed a growth from 64% to 67%. The total amount of USD transactions over RUB transactions narrowed even more from 3 to 1.2 times.

ArmInfo. In 2024, Armenia's GDP growth rate slowed down to 5.9% (from 8.3% in 2023 and 12.6% in 2022). The absolute value of Armenia's GDP in 2024 exceeded 10.127 trillion drams ($25.8 billion). The GDP deflator index also decreased to 101.1% in 2024, down from 102.7% in 2023 and 108% in 2022). This is evidenced by data from the RA Statistical Committee published on February 20.
