ArmInfo. RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia, Claudia Busch.  According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Finance, the parties discussed the projects implemented with the support of the German Development Bank (KfW) and possible cooperation within the framework of the <Global Preferential Financing Instruments Fund>.  Vahe Hovhannisyan emphasized the importance of enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Finance of Germany (German: Bundesministerium der Finanzen, BMF) and fostering bilateral ties through new initiatives. 

ArmInfo. On December 2nd, the 27th meeting of the Advisory Council on Monetary Policy for regulators of the EAEU member states took place at the Central Bank of Armenia. As noted in the message of the Central Bank of Armenia, the meeting was attended by senior officials from the central (national) banks of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, along with a delegation from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan as an observer.

ArmInfo. Armenia's gross  international reserves (GIR) decreased by 5.8% per annum or $222.1  million to $3.591 billion by November 2024, while a year ago an  increase of 5% or $179.7 million was recorded. Thus, GIR continues to  move away from the historical maximum of $4.2 billion recorded in  August 2023. This is evidenced by data from the Central Bank of the  Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. The 64th Plenary Session of the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) will be held in Yerevan from  December 10 to 12, as announced by the PABSEC press service.   According to the source, the 70th meeting of the Bureau and the 64th  meeting of the Committee of the inter-parliamentary organization will  take place on December 10, with the 64th session of the PABSEC  General Assembly scheduled for December 11-12.

ArmInfo.  The  Russian-Georgian checkpoint  has been closed for five days already.   According to the North Ossetian Traffic Organization Center, there  are 2,880 trucks waiting to enter Georgia, with 863 of them being  Armenian trucks.  It should be noted that the Stepatsminda-Lars road  is the only land route connecting Armenia and Russia.

ArmInfo. At a meeting on  November 29, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided  to provide a tariff concession in the form of an exemption from  import customs duty for certain types of cattle meat intended for the  production of meat products.

ArmInfo.  The Council of the  Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved a tariff concession in the form of an exemption from import customs duty for butter  imported to the Republic of Armenia in the amount of no more than 2  thousand tons and to the Russian Federation - in the amount of no  more than 25 thousand tons, as stated in the EEC message.

ArmInfo.Hovhannes Harutyunyan, the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia,  met with Areg Barseghyan, energy specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), to discuss the wind power generation project being implemented with the bank's support.

Gevorg Papoyan, the Armenian Minister of Economy, shared this view during an interview with Civil.net,  commenting on the Regulator's intention to reduce the target inflation threshold from 4% to 3% in 2025.
