China is ready to closely cooperate with Armenia in the energy sector, and is interested in collaboration in the field of nuclear energy, as stated by Chen Ming, the Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in  Armenia, during a conversation with journalists on November 12 at the international conference "Modernization of China: Armenian-Chinese Relations", while responding to a question about whether Yerevan and Beijing are discussing China's assistance to Armenia in the construction of a new Nuclear Power Plant.

No obstacles to residents planning import of electric cars - MP

ArmInfo. Artificial barriers cannot be created for citizens who have planned to import electric vehicles several months in advance. This was stated on June 12 in the National Assembly of Armenia during discussions on the  draft state budget for 2025 by Arsen Torosyan, a member of the National Assembly from the ruling Civil Contract faction. 

Armenia`s minister of finance forecasts 5.5% share of budget deficit  in GDP next year

This was stated by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Hovhannisyan during the plenary session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on November 12, answering a question from Artsvik Minasyan, a member of parliament from the opposition faction "Armenia". 

Housing programme in Armenia`s border regions to be continued next  year

SRC warns: From 2025, duty-free import to be applicable to electric  cars no more than 2 years old

Starting in 2025, duty-free import may be applicable to cars with an electric engine  that were manufactured after December 31, 2022.  As reported by the press service of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia, there is currently a project under discussion regarding the allocation of  quotas for the import of  the import of electric vehicles classified under code 8703 80 000 2 of the EAEU TN VED at a 0% duty rate for 2025.
