This was stated on November 8 at a seminar for journalists in Kapan, dedicated to the topic of "Mining industry and the agenda of economic development of Armenia", Deputy Director of the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) Vardan Janyan.

As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the department, a meeting was held at the Ministry,  chaired by Deputy Minister Edgar Zakaryan. In attendance were Deputy  Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan, members of the  Indian organization NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation)  International Limited, as well as representatives of Armenian  business organizations and unions.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the per capita debt increase to $4.1 thousand by October 2024, compared to $3.8 thousand the previous year. Furthermore, the per capita debt burden from external debt slightly decreased, dropping from $2.2 thousand to $2.1 thousand, while the burden from internal debt rose from $1.6 thousand to $2 thousand during the same period.

This was stated by Daniel Azatyan, the Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA), during a conversation with journalists on the sidelines of the first International BANKING FORUM-2024, answering a question regarding interest rates.

ArmInfo. In Armenia in January-September 2024.  24,997 children were born, which is 7.2% lower than a year ago. The birth rate per 1,000 inhabitants during the reporting period was 11 ppm, compared to 12.2 ppm in 2023. This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee.

ArmInfo. From January 31 to July 31, 2025, Armenia will impose a ban on the export of ferrous and  non-ferrous metal scrap and waste, as well as some used ferrous and non- ferrous metal products from the country. The decision to this effect was made at a meeting of the RA government on November 7.
