ArmInfo. In 2025, the budget of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia will be approximately 665 billion drams, or 110.7 billion drams more than in 2024. This is stated in the message to the draft state budget for next year.  According to the document, under conditions of ensuring GDP growth of 5.6%, 3.5% GDP deflator and average inflation of 3.6%, the state budget revenues of Armenia in 2025 will increase by 279.5 billion drams - to 2 trillion 873.1 billion drams (about $7.4 billion).

ArmInfo.90% of mutual trade in the EAEU is carried out in national currency. This was  stated to journalists on the sidelines of the Eurasian Forum on September 30 by the Minister of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Bakhyt Sultanov.

ArmInfo. September 23 to 27, 2024, USD and EUR transactions showed a growth, with RUB transactions showing a serious decline in Armenia's interbank foreign exchange market. Four USD, three EUR and two RUB transactions were effected during the period under review, with USD, EUR and RUB transactions simultaneously effected on Wednesday alone.

ArmInfo. On September 27, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received representatives of the World Bank Office in Armenia. Tafadzva Dube, WB Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist, joined the meeting online.  As reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Economy, during the meeting, the Local Economy and Infrastructure Development Program (LEIDP) and Tourism and Regional Infrastructure Improvement Program (TRIP) were discussed. These programs aim to improve infrastructure services and develop capacity in various regions of Armenia.

ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia informs that as of September 27, the balance of preferential imports of electric vehicles into the territory of the republic is 454  units.  The SRC reminds that a zero import duty rate is applied to electric vehicles imported under the code 8703 80 000 2 of the Eurasian Economic Union.  In 2024, a total of 7,400 electric vehicles are  planned to be imported to Armenia from third countries with an import duty rate of 0%.
