ArmInfo. The Food Safety  Inspectorate (FSI) responded to statements about the ban on export of  Armenian products to Russia, and also responded to concerns about the  sale of products banned from export on the local market. Earlier,  Garnik Danielyan, a member of the RA parliament from the Hayastan  faction, stated with reference to a group of exporters that the  Armenian side has been preventing the export of agricultural products  to Russia for a week now. 

ArmInfo. In Armenia, economic activity growth in the first  half of 2024 slowed to 10.4% per annum (from 11.4% in the same period  of 2023). But unlike last year, the industrial sector has become one  of the growth drivers. According to preliminary data from the RA  Statistical Committee, this is accompanied by continued high growth  rates of exports and imports.

As noted in the message of the Central Bank of the Republic of  Armenia, the Fora-Bank representative office received  a certificate of registration from the regulator on  May 15 of this year.

It  is organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries of India  and is scheduled from 19 to 22 September. The purpose of the fair is  to enhance sustainable development of trade and business activities.

From now  on, if enterprises purchasing agricultural products fail to fulfill  their financial obligations to farmers within 30 days, proceedings  will be initiated against the latter. ArmInfo. The Dutch company PUM  (Netherlands Senior Experts) held a forum in Armenia called "Bridge  to the Future: Long-term Assistance to SMEs in Armenia". This was  reported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia. 

ArmInfo. The Armenian government has  once again expanded the circle of people who can benefit from (free)  assisted reproductive technology. The decision was approved by the  Cabinet of Ministers on July 25.

ArmInfo. The European Bank for  Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide Armenia with a  grant of 2 million euros and a loan of 10 million euros for the  construction of the Foreign Economic Activity (FEA) Center - a  logistics and customs terminal in the city of Sisian in the Syunik  region. Co-financing by the RA government will amount to 20% of the  total amount. 

ArmInfo. The Republic of Armenia  and the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will sign a loan agreement  for the provision of an investment loan in the amount of $200 million  from the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) to  finance the project within the  framework of the road corridor investment program.  The  proposal to sign the document was approved by the Cabinet of  Ministers on July 25. 

ArmInfo. In the medium term,  Armenia will need loans in the amount of $400-450 million per year to  cover the budget deficit. This is stated in the draft decision of the  Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Armenia dated July 25 on the  ratification of the loan agreement with the Eurasian Development Bank  (EDB) for the provision of $100 million from the Eurasian Fund for  Stabilization and Development (EFSD).
