ArmInfo. Poland considers Armenia as a profitable platform for entering the EAEU market. This was stated by  Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Marcin  Przydacz, during a meeting with Deputy Heads of the Economic  Department of Armenia Rafael Gevorgyan and Armen Arzumanyan.

ArmInfo.In its updated forecast for 2022, the Central Bank of Armenia reduced the decline in net remittance inflows (including seasonal workers and private transfers)  to 12% from the previous 20% (against an actual 54% growth in 2021),  based on the foreseeable economic downturn in Russia (by 7.4%) and  the change in the dollar income of seasonal workers. This is noted in  the Monetary Policy Program (MPP) of the Central Bank for Q2 2022,  published at the end of June, which also indicates an improved  forecast for GDP growth for 2022 from the previous 1.6% to an updated  4.9% (against the actual 5.7% growth in 2021).

ArmInfo.Today, on June 28th , in Yerevan, the Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan and President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock  Exchange (GPW) Marek Dietl signed an agreement on the sale of a  majority interest in the Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX). ACBA Bank and Ameriabank, on the basis of the public offer of the Central Bank and discussions between the banks, undertook and made relevant large-scale  investments for the beneficiaries in the activation of systems for  accepting non-cash payments on cash registers. ArmInfo. The Russian parliamentary delegation discussed the directions of trade and  economic cooperation between the two countries in the Armenian  government today. Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian  Federation Alexey  Gordeyev told journalists in Yerevan on June 28.

ArmInfo.The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has improved its GDP growth forecast for Armenia for 2022 from the previous 1.5% to an updated 5%. This is evidenced  by the Fund's press release received by ArmInfo. The current revised  forecast is presented following the visit of an International  Monetary Fund (IMF) team, led by Iva Petrova to Armenia during June  20-24, 2022.
