ArmInfo. RoboTon 2025 was a true celebration filled with robots, technologies, interactive entertainment, and of course, a financial literacy component. Through another collaboration between Idram and Mind Center, this event became a highly anticipated occasion for schoolchildren interested in the field. It offered a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, as well as to meet and interact with peers. The event featured robot testing, demonstrations, and a panel discussion with parents on the importance of future-oriented education for children.

ArmInfo.  On November 18, during his working visit to California, Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan met with John Shea, President and CEO of the World Trade Center of  Northern California, as well as Tessa Carter, Director of Operations.  Karen Israelyan, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Los  Angeles also attended the meeting.

ArmInfo.  The official opening of the Armenian representative office of the Armenia-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFA) took place in Yerevan.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the per capita debt burden reached $4.6 thousand by October 1, 2025 (compared to  $4.1 thousand the previous year), representing a 12% increase. Moreover, the per capita debt burden from external debt rose from $2.1 thousand to $2.2 thousand (by 4.8%), while the per  capita debt burden from  domestic debt increased from $2 thousand to $2.4 thousand (by 20%).

ArmInfo.At the end of 2017, Armenia's public debt was only $7 billion. By December 31, 2026, this figure will increase by $10 billion to $17 billion 170  million.  Next year, debt repayment and servicing will require 1 trillion 53 billion drams, compared to the expected budget of 3..91  billion drams. This means that out of every 3 drams earned, 1 dram is paid to creditors, as stated by Artur Khachatryan, a  parliament  member from of the opposition Hayastan faction.

ArmInfo. Within the framework of the international PLUS Forum held in Yerevan, Armenia, the Arca National Payment System, Bank of Georgia JSC and Ameriabank signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The memorandum aims to define the scope of cooperation between the parties to ensure interoperability between the ArcaPay and the Bank of Georgia instant transfer systems. This initiative will enable instant money transfers between Armenia and Georgia in both directions, enhancing the accessibility and speed of payment services.

ArmInfo.Next year, the current Armenian government's five-year program will come to an end, and it is becoming clear that key promises regarding the  socio-economic sphere have not been fulfilled. Tadevos Avetisyan, a parliament member representing the opposition "Armenia" faction,  wrote  on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. The Yerevan Municipality has proposed a new solution to the city's traffic congestion: a Traffic Management Center will be established. Yerevan  Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan presented the draft law during a meeting of the Council of Elders on November 18.

ArmInfo. Emphasizing the importance of Armenia's energy security, the development of renewable energy sources, their efficient operation, and industry discussions in this area, Team Group of Companies supported the annual Robust Armenia conference. This year's event was held under the slogan "Efficiency is the key to Armenia's energy security."

ArmInfo.  Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR) reached a new record high of $4.289 billion in October 2025, an increase of 20%, or $715.7 million,  year-on-year, compared to a decline of 14.2%, or $592.2 million, a  year earlier. Thus, GIR exceeded the previous historical maximum of  $4.220 billion, set in August 2023. This is evidenced by data from  the Central Bank of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  As of November 10, 2025, tax revenues (income and state duties) to the state treasury of Armenia amounted to 2 trillion 262.9 billion drams, compared to the  planned 2 trillion 720.3 billion drams for the current year,  according to the Budget Office of the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. In collaboration with Idram, the final competition of the Feminno NGO’s STEM Acceleration Award program took place recently, with around 200 school-aged girls from all regions of Armenia participating.

ArmInfo.  A delegation from the Armenian Ministry of High- Tech Industry, led by Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan, held a series of meetings in Grenoble, France.   Specifically, they held a reception with Nicolas Daragon, Mayor of  Valence and Vice-President of the Regional Council of  Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, to discuss opportunities for deepening  cooperation in areas of mutual interest and exchanging experiences.

ArmInfo.  Construction of the Kajaran-Agarak road within the North-South transport corridor continues apace, according to the Roads Department of the RA Ministry  of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

ArmInfo. Armenian IT companies will participate in the international technology exhibition Japan IT Week 2026, scheduled for next spring in Tokyo.

ArmInfo.  As of October 31, instead of the planned 72.268 billion drams, Yerevan  managed to collect 70.136 billion drams in revenues in  January-October.  David Hakobyan, Acting Head of the Yerevan  Municipality's Revenue Accounting and Collection Department,  made  this statement during a working meeting at the Mayor's Office on  November 17.
