The expenditures of the state budget of Armenia in January-July 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, increased by 12.1% or by 113.4 billion drams.  The growth is largely due to an increase in costs related to  servicing public debt, non-financial assets, benefits and grants.  This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Finance of Armenia.

Central Bank of Armenia expects inflation to return to target  threshold

ArmInfo. Despite the fact that annual inflation in Armenia reached 8.8% in August 2021, and the growth continues, the Central Bank expects inflation to return to the  target value of 4%. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the  Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia Nerses Yeritsyan on September  27 at a meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and  Budgetary Issues on the Execution of the State Budget for the first  half of 2021.

In August of this year by August 2020,  economic activity increased by 2.3% (against a decline of 9.8% a year  earlier), while in August 2021 alone it slowed down to 2.1% from 7.5%  in July, which was also observed in August 2020 - up to 7.4% from  9.7% in July.

And as evidenced by the data of the Bureau of  Motor Insurers of Armenia, their number increased in January-August  2021 by 1% per annum, with an exit from the 2.9% decline a year  earlier, but so far it is much inferior to the pre-covid upward rate  of 13% for the same period in 2019.
