ArmInfo.The Central Bank of Armenia has once again raised the refinancing rate - from 7% to 7.25%. As ArmInfo was told in the press service of the Central Bank  of Armenia, this decision was made by the Central Bank on September  14 at a meeting of the Council.  In this regard, rates on lombard  repo and on deposits attracted from banks were also increased by  0.25% percentage points - to 8.75% and 5.75%, respectively.

ArmInfo.From January 1, 2022, the single operator of water supply company "Veolia Djur" proposes to increase the water tariff by 43.7 drams - up to 223.7 drams  (including VAT) per 1 cubic meter. ArmInfo.In the first half of 2021, Armenia reduced sugar imports by 73.4% (against a decline of 35% a year earlier), supplying 5.6 thousand tons to the market.  According to the data of the Customs Service, the customs value at  the same time decreased by 53.2%, amounting to $ 3.2 million.

ArmInfo. Imports of oil products to Armenia in quantitative terms increased in the first half of 2021 by 3.7% per annum - up to 229.2 thousand tons (against an  increase of 53.3% a year earlier). At the same time, the customs  value increased by 31.3% - up to $ 150.1 million, as evidenced by the  data of the Armenian Customs Service.  

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2021 Armenia reduced car imports by 83.7%, against a more significant decline a year earlier - 2-fold. Thus, according to the  data of the Customs Service, 2.9 thousand units of passenger cars  were imported into the country during the reporting period, the  customs value of which decreased by 10.3% in y-o-y terms- to $ 37.2  million.
