ArmInfo. In H1 2021, the volume of polished diamond exports from Armenia increased 5.5-fold (against a 32.2% decline a year earlier), amounting to 530.3 thousand  carats. According to the RA Customs Service, while the customs value  increased 2.1-fold, amounting to $ 36.5 million.

ArmInfo. In Jan-Aug 2021, inflation at 3.7% was recorded in the consumer market of Armenia, against 1.2% deflation in the same period of 2020. This was provoked  by a rise in prices for food products (including alcohol and  cigarettes) by 4.9% and non-food products by 5.2%, while tariffs for  services increased by 1.2%.

ArmInfo. In H1 2021, 1372.6 kg of gold were exported from Armenia (including electroplating), with a y-o-y decline of 49.8% (against 11.8% decline a year earlier).

ArmInfo.Armenia's foreign trade turnover with the EU countries in Jan- July 2021 reached 21.8% growth (from a 21.9% decline a year earlier), amounting to $ 853.5  million. The negative balance of Armenia's foreign trade with the EU  countries amounted to $ 142.8 million, with an annual decline of  27.4% (against a 13.7% decline in the same period in 2020).

ArmInfo.Armenia's foreign trade turnover with the EAEU countries in January-July 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 reached 17.5% growth (from a 2.6% decline  a year earlier), amounting to $ 1.4 billion, as evidenced by the  final data of the Statistical Committee of RA.

ArmInfo.As of the end of August, 488 thousand tourists visited Armenia. Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan stated this during a briefing on September 8.   In August alone, the number of tourists who visited the country  amounted to 143 thousand. "This means that in comparison with last  year we already have an increase of 130%," he said.

ArmInfo. In H1 2021, Armenia exported 17.1 thousand tons of aluminum foil, which is 0.7% less than a year ago (against 3% growth a year earlier). However, in  monetary terms, the export of foil showed an increase of 19.7% per  annum - up to $ 54.8 million.

ArmInfo.IDBank prematurely finished the placement of the second tranche of dollar bonds under the abbreviation AMANLBB2DER5. The total volume of the issue was USD 5 million, the annual coupon interest rate is 4%, the coupons are to be paid quarterly and the maturity is 27 months.

ArmInfo.The revenue of the trade sector of Armenia in January-July 2021 increased by 7.5% per annum (against an 11% decline a year earlier), reaching 1.7 trillion  drams ($ 3.4 billion). This is evidenced by the data of the  Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, according to which,  in July alone, the revenue of the trade sector increased by 6.5% to  300.5 billion drams ($ 612.2 million).

ArmInfo.On September 7, the Government of Armenia, by written vote, approved the decision "On the application of temporary restrictions on the export to third  countries of copper concentrate, molybdenum concentrate,  ferromolybdenum, as well as molybdenum products (except for HS code  8102970000: Molybdenum waste and scrap) from the Republic of Armenia,  on the establishment of the export licensing procedure, the form of  license applications and licenses ".
