ArmInfo. In Jan-Aug 2021, inflation at 3.7% was recorded in the consumer market of Armenia, against 1.2% deflation in the same period of 2020. This was provoked  by a rise in prices for food products (including alcohol and  cigarettes) by 4.9% and non-food products by 5.2%, while tariffs for  services increased by 1.2%.

The negative balance of Armenia's foreign trade with the EU  countries amounted to $ 142.8 million, with an annual decline of  27.4% (against a 13.7% decline in the same period in 2020).

Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan stated this during a briefing on September 8.   In August alone, the number of tourists who visited the country  amounted to 143 thousand. "This means that in comparison with last  year we already have an increase of 130%," he said.

Armenia slightly reduced the export of aluminum foil in H1, 2021

Armenian service sector tries to restore growth rates
