Under the World Bank program "Development of Local Economy and Infrastructures", an 18 km long road connecting the Ararat and Kotayk regions (Garni- Lanjazat) has been repaired, which is of great tourism importance. According to  the official statement of the government, about 2 billion drams were  allocated for the implementation of road works on this section, which  connects the following tourist destinations such as Garni, Khor  Virap, Dvin and the Azat reservoir.

ArmInfo.A more impressive growth in exports than imports increased the foreign trade deficit of Armenia in January-May 2021 by 13% per annum (against a decline of  18% a year earlier, with a decline in imports by 12.8% and exports by  8.1%).

ArmInfo.ARTEK POWER SYSTEM LLC invests AMD 4 billion 250 million (about $ 8.2 million in the production of high-tech products, in particular, unmanned aerial  vehicles on the territory of RAO MARS CJSC in the Alliance FEZ. The  company's right for a period of 5 years was approved at a government  meeting on June 24.

On June 24, at a Cabinet meeting, the Armenian government approved the results of the pre-qualification competition dated December 3, 2020 within the  framework of the project for the construction of the  "Ayg-1"  photovoltaic industrial station and made changes to the terms of  financing the project.

ArmInfo.Armenia has extended the embargo on the import of Turkish goods. The corresponding decision was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on June 24.   Presenting the project solution, acting Minister of Economy Vahan  Kerobyan recalled that on October 20, 2020, the Armenian government  approved a decision to introduce a 6-month embargo on the import of  goods of Turkish origin. As explained by the acting Minister, this  was due to the fact that according to the relevant provision of the  treaty "On the Eurasian Economic Union", one country, without  agreement with the rest, cannot prohibit imports from third countries  for a period of more than 6 months.
