ArmInfo. As of January 1,  2021, 724 721 subscribers are connected to the gas distribution  network of Armenia, of which 387 885 are in multi-apartment  residential buildings (apartments), 336 836 are in private houses.  This was reported by the press service of "Gazprom Armenia" CJSC.

ArmInfo.The metallurgical industry of Armenia for 11 months of 2020 increased production volumes by 1.7% per annum, against 21.4% growth for the same period  of 2019. This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical  Committee.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the production of aluminum foil for 11 months of 2020 exceeded the production volumes for the entire 2019. According to the data of the  Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, in January-November  2020 the "Armenal" plant produced 32.608 tons of aluminum foil, while  for the whole of 2019 30.547 tons were produced.

ArmInfo. Electricity generation in Armenia in January- November 2020 amounted to 6990.5 million kWh, with a y-o-y growth of 1.8% (against a decline of 3.4% a  year earlier). In November alone, electricity generation increased by  1.9% to 632.6 million kWh.

ArmInfo. In the consumer market of Armenia in 2020, inflation was higher - 3.7%, than in 2019 - 0.7%.

In November 2020 versus November 2019,  economic activity decreased by 10.3%, with an almost similar 10.2%  decline in November 2020 alone, after an October decline of 4.9%.

According to the data of the  Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, such dynamics is  due to the worsening trend in the manufacturing- from growth to  decline, and a slowdown in the y-o-y growth rates of the mining  sector.

ArmInfo.The state should increase expenditure on marketing and advertising in the tourism sector. Chairman of the Armenian Tourism Federation Mekhak Apresyan  expressed a similar opinion during a press conference.

In this  vein, he noted that the approximate number of tourists who visited  Armenia in the previous year will be about 350 thousand tourists,  against 1.5 million in 2019.

The amendments to the law "On  Determining the Procedure for Cadastral Valuation of Real Estate  Close to Market Value" and in the Land Code received a positive  conclusion from the Commission on Economic Affairs of the RA National  Assembly, which met on January 13.
