ArmInfo.The budget of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia for 2021 will amount to 210.8 billion drams, of which 37.3 billion  will be directed to programs to finance the budget deficit.

In Armenia, economic activity in January- September 2020 continued to decline, amounting to a negative 6.6% (instead of a 6.4% decline in January-  August this year and a 7.1% growth over the same period of 2019). ...  According to the final data of the RA Statistical Committee, in  September 2020. by September 2019 economic activity decreased by  7.5%, but only in September 2020. accelerated growth to 10.6% from  7.4% in August.

ArmInfo.In 2021, 31.2 billion drams will be allocated to promote agriculture in Armenia. The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan  stated this on November 6 at a hearing in parliamentary commissions  on the draft state budget of the country in 2021.

ArmInfo. In 2021, capital construction expenditures in Armenia are planned at such a level to ensure economic growth. On November 6, RA Minister of Finance Atom  Janjughazyan spoke about this at a hearing in parliamentary  commissions on the draft state budget for 2021.

According to the data of the Statistical  Committee of the Republic of Armenia, during the reporting period, a  downward trend was registered for absolutely all types of alcoholic  beverages produced in Armenia.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the production of aluminum foil in January-September 2020, increased by 13.8%, against of 3.3% growth a year earlier - up to 26 450 tons. 

ArmInfo. Metallurgical industry of Armenia for 9 months of 2020 increased production by 7.5% per annum, against a 12.7% increase in the same period in 2019. In  particular, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of  Armenia, in January-September 2020, the production of ferromolybdenum  in Armenia decreased by 7.6% compared to the same period of the  previous year, amounting to 5,202.2 tons (against an increase of  12.9%).

ArmInfo. Electricity generation in Armenia in January- September 2020 amounted to 5,737 million kWh, having increased by 1.5% on y-o-y (against a decline of  2.2% a year earlier), and in September alone decreased by 3.7% up to  632.2 million kWh.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic  of Armenia Avet Adonts stated this on November 5 at a joint meeting  of parliamentary committees, at which the draft state budget of the  country for 2021 is discussed.

ArmInfo. For 9 months of 2020, the industrial sector of Armenia showed an increase of 1%, against growth of 9.7% in the same period of 2019. The slowdown in  the annual growth rate of the industry is due to the continuing  negative trend in the manufacturing sector.

ArmInfo.On November 5, 1995, the second power unit of the Armenian NPP was restarted after an idle period of six and a half years. The decision to restart the  Armenian nuclear power plant helped Armenia to cope with the economic  crisis of the 90s, when the country, among other serious problems,  experienced an acute shortage of electricity.

ArmInfo. 50.978 various real estate transactions were carried out in Armenia, in the Q3, which is 8.1% higher than a year ago, while the number of transactions  increased by 77% during the quarter. According to the data of the  State Committee for Real Estate Cadastre, of the total number of  transactions, Yerevan accounts for 31.3% (15,973 transactions), which  decreased by 4.2% in y-o-y terms, with an increase of 75.9% over the  quarter.

ArmInfo. The countries of the Eurasian Economic  Union (EAEU) and Iran are increasing the volume of mutual trade,  despite the pandemic. According to the EEC, for 8 months of this  year, the trade turnover increased by 2% and exceeded USD 2 billion.

ArmInfo. In the regions of Armenia in the third quarter of 2020, 10,922 real estate purchase and sale transactions were concluded, which in y-o-y and quarterly terms  is higher than the indicator of a year ago by 25.8% and 86.4%,  respectively.

In Q3 of 2020, 981 real estate transactions were concluded by foreigners in Armenia, which is 41.9% lower in y-o-y terms (compared to the Q3 of 2019), but  twice as many compared to the previous quarter of this year.  According to the State Cadastre of Real Estate, in total, the share  of non-residents made 6.4% of the total volume of transactions fell  to, against 12.8% in the last year for the same period, and 5.9% in  the Q2 of this year.
