Taking into account the catastrophic ecological state in the Yeghegis river gorge and the critical low water level in the river, an interdepartmental working group will be created in a short time on the instructions of RA  Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan, which will deal with the  problems of 17 small hydroelectric power plants located on the  Yeghegis river.  This was reported by the press service of the  Ministry.

The amendments to the law "On highways" submitted to the National Assembly of Armenia are rather ill-considered, and can significantly and senselessly increase the costs of transport companies and severely hit the  efficiency of a number of industries, and first of all, the mining  industry in Armenia. Gagik Aghajanyan, Executive Director of the  large forwarding company "Apaven", expressed this opinion in an  interview with an ArmInfo correspondent.

ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia has reduced the refinancing rate by 0.25 percentage points - to 4.25%. As ArmInfo was told in the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia, this decision was made on September 15 at a meeting  of the Central Bank Council.

ArmInfo. The inflow of transfers from Russia to Armenia in January-July 2020 sharply accelerated the y-o-y decline to 28.2% from 2.9% in the same period  of 2019. At the same time, the outflow of transfers from Armenia to  Russia increased by 0.9% from 1.6% decline a year earlier.
