ArmInfo.The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB)  will provide funds to the Armenia Securities Exchange OJSC for  software and technological modernization on a non-refundable basis.   According to the signed agreement, the EDB plans to finance the main  part of the costs associated with the introduction of a new exchange  trading system and technical re-equipment of AMX.

ArmInfo. Armenia managed to  close 2020 with a high level of tax discipline. On January 12, RA  Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan stated this to  journalists.  According to him, this is largely due to the growth of  self-awareness on the part of business entities and the strengthening  of tax administration. ArmInfo. In the updated forecast for 2020, the Central Bank of Armenia expects a higher state budget deficit - 6.2% of GDP (against the previously predicted 5.7%),  with an annual growth of 4.8 percentage points.

ArmInfo.The Central Bank further worsened the forecast for the decline in Armenia's GDP in 2020 - to 7.2% from the previous 6.2%. This is set out in the Central  Bank's Monetary Policy Program for the Q4 of 2020, published on  December 29.  According to the Central Bank's forecast, in these  conditions, the decline in private demand will amount to 10.1%,  including private consumption will decrease by 9.3% (against the  previously expected decline by 9.4%), and the gross accumulation of  private fixed assets will decrease by 15.3%.
