The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures sent a letter to the Tian Erlun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the  People's Republic of China to the RA, in connection with the  situation related to the departure of the Chinese company Sinohydro,  which is a contractor in the North-South construction project. This  was announced on May 6 by the Minister of Territorial Administration  and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan during  questions and answers in the National Assembly of the Republic of  Armenia.

ArmInfo.The Armenian government will assist the Yerevan Municipality in resolving the issue of acquiring new vehicles. On May 6, the Deputy Prime Minister stated  this from the rostrum of the Parliament, answering the question of  the NA deputy Ani Samsonian.  According to the Deputy Prime Minister,  negotiations on this issue were conducted with the European Bank for  Reconstruction and Development, which agreed  to provide  Armenia   with a loan of 25 million euros for the purchase of 100 modern buses.  At the suggestion of the EBRD, a tender is already being held to  accelerate the purchase of 100 buses for Yerevan with a length of 12  m, with a low platform adapted for people with disabilities. ArmInfo. In Q1 of 2020, 7,578 babies were born in Armenia, which is by 4.7% lower than the indicator of the previous year, and by 8.7% in comparison with the same period of 2018. According to the RA Statistical Committee, the birth rate per 1000 inhabitants for the reporting year decreased from 10.9 to 10.3 ppm, compared to 11.3 two years earlier.
