ArmInfo.Passenger traffic in Armenia in January-February 2020 decreased by 1.8% - to 28726.1 thousand people, against a decline of 0.9% a year earlier. This is  evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee. Moreover, the  deepest decline is observed in terms of air transportation - by 20.1%  to 472 thousand people. Road transport decreased by 2.8% to 24,338.2  thousand people.

Fitch downgrades outlook on Armenia to ``Negative`` and expects GDP  growth to slow down to 0.5% in 2020

ArmInfo.Fitch Ratings has revised the Outlook on Armenia's Long-Term Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) to Negative from Stable and affirmed the IDRs at 'BB-'. It has also  revised the forecast for Armenia's GDP growth for 2020 towards a  slowdown to 0.5%. This is stated in the rating actions commentary  published on the Fitch website.

YOY growth rates of Armenia`s communications sector`s revenue slowed  down in Jan-Feb 2020

ArmInfo. Revenue of Armenia's communication sector in January- February 2020, amounted to 23.2 billion drams ($ 48.5 million), and the y-o-y growth slowed from  2.5% to 0.5%. According to the RA Statistical Committee, the lion's  share of the total revenue was provided by the telecommunications  sector - 90% or 20.9 billion drams, which was reduced by 0.6%  (compared to a 1.5% decline last year).

EEC Council expanded the list of goods exempted from import customs  duty
