ArmInfo. Converse Bank signed 8 million US dollars equivalent local currency two loan facilities with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Out of the total loan proceeds 6 million US dollars equivalent in local currency will be channeled to the financing of private micro, small and medium enterprises and 2 million US dollars equivalent in local currency to women-led MSMEs in the frames of EBRD’s “Women in Business” Programme.

ArmInfo. Nominal wages in Armenia accelerated growth rates - up to 5.8% in January-December 2019 from 3.8% in January-December 2018, amounting to 182750 drams ($  380). In December alone, nominal wages increased by 26.4%, against a  23.4% increase in December 2018.  In December 2019, as compared to  December 2018, the nominal wage increased by 5.4%, against a growth  of 2% in December 2018 compared to December 2017.

Increase in foreign trade deficit of Armenia slowed down  significantly - to 12.6% in 2019

The small prevalence of import growth rates (10.8%) over export (9.4%) sharply has  slowed down the growth of the foreign trade deficit of Armenia in January-  December 2019 compared to January-December 2018 to 12.6%. A year  earlier, in January-December 2018, the foreign trade deficit jumped  by 31.7% per annum against the backdrop of a sharp slowdown in export  growth from 25.2% to 7.8% with a slight slowdown in import growth  from 27.8% to 21.1%.
