ArmInfo. Armenia – On September 20, 2025, the Gateway to EU Congress, a flagship international event fostering cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange, concluded its two-day program in Yerevan, gathering over 40 leading European angel investors alongside Armenian startup founders, angel investors, venture capitalists, and policymakers.

ArmInfo.The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide a sovereign-guaranteed loan of EUR 39 million to Armenia to finance the  construction of a new customs and logistics center (CLC) on the  outskirts of Yerevan. The loan will be complemented by a EUR 6 million  grant from the European Union. The EBRD Armenia office press service  told ArmInfo.

ArmInfo. From September 15 to 19, 2025, there was a significant increase in dollar  transactions in the Armenian interbank foreign exchange market, while  ruble transactions saw a decrease. Euro transactions have been on  hold for over four months. Specifically, the trend in dollar  transactions shifted from a 42% decline to a significant 2.2-fold  increase, while the trend in ruble transactions shifted from a 75%  increase to a 22% decline. This resulted in the weekly dollar volume  surpassing  ruble transactions by 1.3 times, whereas the previous  week's trend was the opposite: ruble transactions exceeded dollar  transactions by 2.1-fold. Meanwhile, in the interbank foreign  exchange market during the reporting week (September 15-19, 2025  compared to September 8-12, 2025),  there was a continued decline in  dollar buying and selling, a reversal from growth to decline in the  euro buying and selling trend, and an increase in ruble buying,  Alongside a decline in selling.

In line with the Bank’s Social Responsibility Policy, the “Side by Side” program targets two key areas: employment opportunities through education and education promotion. As a regular event of the program, this time the direction of women’s empowerment was chosen, the participants of which are beneficiaries of the “Armenian Mothers” NGO, mothers of children with disabilities or large families. 65 women are receiving professional education in the fields of manicure and sewing and fashion with the funding of IDBank, and are also provided with working tools and accessories by the Bank.

ArmInfo.In the Global Innovation Index (GII) report, published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on September 16, 2025, Armenia ranked 59th out of 139 countries. RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan  shared this information on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  Russia, together with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, is forming a common financial market. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister  Mikhail Mishustin during his address to participants of the Moscow  Financial Forum 2025, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

ArmInfo.  On September 18, at its regular meeting, the Armenian government approved a proposal to sign a draft Agreement "On the Center for Expertise and Research for  Customs Purposes of the Customs Services of the CIS Member States."
