
ArmInfo. Subsidizing programs for the development of the social and economic infrastructure of the Armenian communities provides for the application of effective and modern solutions. Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan announced this at the first meeting of the interagency subsidy assessment committee this year.
According to the press service of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, it was reported at the meeting that in 2019, out of 518 applications for subsidizing community programs, the commission approved 483 projects for a total of 23.76 billion drams. Co-financing of the state budget for the approved programs amounted to 12.95 billion drams. A number of programs ended in 2019, others will continue to be implemented this year.
The meeting also discussed issues related to improving the effectiveness of community subsidy programs.
