Pashinyan: Armenia has accumulated significant economic potential for  restart

The head of government called for calm, emphasizing that the current crisis is a  zero point from which to build a new reality, starting with the level  of social responsibility and ending with everyday habits. "Our  experience shows that the coronavirus is manageable, and can be  managed in the long run." On March 17, Prime Minister of Armenia  Nikol Pashinyan said on his Facebook live broadcast on his Facebook  page.

"I am sure that we will emerge from this situation stronger, more competitive and competent, and as a public and a people we will become more united", -he stressed. In this regard, the Prime Minister noted  that as a result activities for the period 2018-2019. Armenia has  accumulated substantial the economic potential for restarting, in  particular in order to start the economic revolution from scratch.  "This potential will be used to make us out of this situation even  stronger," the prime minister said.

Continuing the idea, he focused on the fact that the decisions to be  made must have strategic depth. "We have developed a plan regarding  how to promote the economy, so that in the short and long term it can  successfully overcome the current situation," Pashinyan said. In this  context, he emphasized that decisions will be presented to the public  only when the state is confident in their correctness.

However, he stressed that he did not want to resort to hasty steps.  The prime minister recalled that he was opposed to benefits that  would further weaken the economy.

It should be noted that in Armenia the number of cases of infection  has increased to 52, more than 300 people are quarantined.
