According to him, Armenia has real prerequisites to improve its performance in the global economy. As a result of the coronavirus epidemic, the global recession will exceed $ 3 trillion. In other words, loopholes will appear in the world economy, which Armenia will have to occupy with a total turnover of at least $ 30 billion.
As the head of government noted, today the whole world admires the talent of the Armenian people, whose efforts even in the conditions of a rigid coronavirus managed to avoid a shortage of food products, which was not observed even in developed countries. Nikol Pashinyan recalled that the government sent 150 billion drams not only to overcome the crisis, but also to develop in the post-crisis period. At the upcoming government meeting, a large-scale program to promote the development of agricultural production will be approved, which involves zeroing out interest rates on loans, developing agricultural cooperatives, and other measures. A business assistance program aimed at increasing the liquidity of companies will also be approved.
