Pashinyan: In the first quarter Armenia will exceed the budget in  terms of tax revenues by 5 billion drams

ArmInfo."No matter how strange it sounds, but we have good news regarding the implementation of the budget," said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a  government meeting on March 26. In this regard, he said that  following the results of the first quarter of this year, Armenia will  exceed the budget in terms of tax revenues by 5 billion drams. <And  in this regard,

I want to pay attention to the importance of observing the tax order.  There has been much talk about social problems, for the solution of  which the government needs revenues, which, as you know, are provided  through the tax system>, the Prime Minister said.

Pashinyan also drew attention to the fact that in parallel with the  dynamic growth of retail trade, there are numerous alarms about  violations by economic entities regarding the issue of cash receipts.  In most cases, as the Prime Minister noted, business entities believe  that due to the crisis in the country, the state will pay attention  to other, more pressing issues. In this regard, the head of the  government of Armenia called on the State Revenue Committee to  tighten control over trade facilities, taking into account the fact  that today their number, in view of the situation, has been much  reduced, therefore, there can be no problems with ensuring an  appropriate level of control.

<The return to old habits must not be allowed, especially in times of  crisis. We must exclude such cases>, the Prime Minister emphasized,  instructing the head of the SRC to approach the punishment of such  economic entities with all severity, the behavior of which, according  to him, is not justified.
