ArmInfo.Gazprom Armenia CJSC will refrain from suspending the gas supply process to consumers in case of untimely payment for the services rendered. This was said in a statement.
According to the source, taking into account the state of emergency declared by the commandant and the statement of the Public Services Regulatory Commission that the situation was recognized as force majeure before the state of emergency, the company will refrain from disconnecting gas supplies to consumers who have not fulfilled their payment obligations.
At the same time, the company informs that, as of March 26, in the structure of natural gas consumption, the debt of consumers for gas used in February amounted to about 4.8 billion drams, of which the debt of consumers included in the list of socially unsecured by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia families, equal to only 315 million drams. Thus, as the company notes, 93.4% of the debt does not apply to socially disadvantaged citizens. Meanwhile, the debt for gas used in February was equal to 900 thousand drams.
