In particular, Arshakyan emphasized that the stimulation of electronic commerce is an additional impetus to the development of the country's economy, both in terms of ensuring transparency of transactions and in terms of uniform development of territories.

It should be noted that according to ArmInfo's analytical bulletin "Armenian Banks in the Card Business", the volume of Internet transactions in 2019 exceeded 300 billion drams, having increased by 39% over the year and amounted to 48% of the total non-cash payments by bank cards.
