ArmInfo.In the state of emergency, the State Employment Agency of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia continues to implement the program "Stimulating seasonal employment", the main purpose of which is to provide assistance to agriculture.
According to the ministry, given the virtually no time restrictions on the types of economic activities in the field of agriculture, the implementation of the program was uninterrupted. As of May, 484 land users were included in the seasonal employment incentive program; the total value of the concluded agreements amounted to 96.9 million drams. For one day of work within the framework of the program, land users and those involved in the work are paid 4 thousand drams each.
For the implementation of the project in 2020, 605.3 million drams were allocated from the state budget of Armenia; The program provides for the inclusion of 2400 land users.
Recall that persons who are not competitive in the labor market and who are at the same time owners, tenants, or gratuitous users of agricultural land with an area of up to 3 hectares may be involved in the program. At the same time, these persons should be registered in the territorial center of the State Employment Agency, and their family members should not be included in state support programs implemented with subsidized interest rates on loans in the field of agriculture.
The duration of one program is a maximum of 180 days, and the size of support is a maximum of 350 thousand drams.
