Deputy Prime Minister: Ensuring macroeconomic stability should become  the most important guarantee for attracting investments and  increasing the potential of the Armenian economy.

ArmInfo. Ensuring macroeconomic stability should become the most important guarantee for attracting investments and increasing the potential of the  Armenian economy. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated this on  November 2 at the discussions in the parliamentary commissions of the  draft state budget of the country in 2021.

According to him, macroeconomic stability is aimed at generating  large volumes of income, which is a guarantee of ensuring the  security of the state, developing human potential, protecting the  environment, and, in general, all areas of life.

Closely cooperating with the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia,  this year we managed to ensure macroeconomic stability, which is an  unprecedented phenomenon in the current conditions, especially given  the COVID-19 epidemic and the war in Karabakh unleashed by Azerbaijan  with the participation of Turkey.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that 2021 will be a busy year for  everyone. He expressed the hope that by joint efforts a draft of the  basic economic law of the country will be developed, which will take  into account all the risks, accumulate large resources to neutralize  and overcome all challenges. "It is obvious that the number one  problem will be the efficient use of state budget funds and,  accordingly, the logic of financing directions," the Deputy Prime  Minister stressed. He also stressed that in the current conditions  caused by martial law, it is very important to mobilize all efforts  to develop the draft state budget for 2021.  At the same time,  special attention will be paid to the implementation of the sectoral  strategy, which corresponds to the program of the RA government. This  strategy will be supported by a program of activities for its  implementation.
