ArmInfo. The activities on assembling the facility for recovery annealing of the ANPP Unit 2 reactor vessel metal have been completed. These activities were performed by the specialists of the Novovoronezhatomenergoremont company of the Russian Federation.
As the press service of the Armenian NPP reports, the facility for annealing was adequately tested and is completely ready for operation. It should be reminded that the annealing of the reactor vessel metal will be performed at the ANPP during outage-2021. It will enable to recover the reactor vessel metal by 80-85% and will reliably facilitate the design life extension and safety improvement of Unit 2.
