
ArmInfo. The programs implemented by the Swedish government help to continue economic reforms in Armenia. RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated on February 15, during a meeting with the Ambassador of Sweden to the RA Patrik Svensson.
During the meeting, the Minister noted the importance of entering the Armenian market Swedish companies IEKA and H&M, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reports. He also informed about current programs, in particular, about the process of managing a venture fund, and invited Swedish companies to take part in their implementation.
In turn, the diplomat noted that Sweden is ready to cooperate with the Armenian government in a number of areas, in particular, on programs implemented in the field of agriculture, information technology, trade, territorial administration.
Patrik Svensson also said that Swedish companies expressed a desire to participate in the process of digitalization of the Armenian economy, waste processing, as well as the operation of airports. The Ambassador mentioned the activities carried out within the framework of the Eastern Partnership program, including improving the business environment, protecting human rights and other areas.
