Up to 150 million cubic meters of Russian gas to be supplied to  Armenia through Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. Under a short-term  contract signed with the Russian company Gazprom Export, it is  planned to transport about 150 million cubic meters of Russian gas  through the territory of Azerbaijan to Georgia.

Ibrahim Ahmadov, Deputy Head of the Department for Organization of  Events and Public Relations of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan  (SOCAR), said this, Trend reports.

According to him, the transit of Russian gas began on March 17 and  will last until April 15.  Earlier it was reported that in connection  with the planned repair work on the "North Caucasus - Transcaucasia"  gas pipeline, Russian gas will be transported to Armenia through the  territory of Azerbaijan.  In particular, it is reported that for this  purpose, Gazprom Export and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan SOCAR  signed a short-term contract for the transportation of Russian gas to  Armenia. It is noted that renovations can take about three weeks.
