In 2020, subsidies from the state budget to the regional administrations of Armenia amounted to 55.379 billion drams (about 115 million U.S. dollars), acting Minister of Finance of Armenia Atom Janjughazyan stated on June 7 during the preliminary discussion of the annual report "On the execution of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2020".
The regional administration of Aragatsotn in 2020 spent about 512 million drams, or 93.4% of the revised program, Armavir region - about 546 million drams, or 99% of the revised program. Expenditures of the Ararat region amounted to 537.5 million drams 93.9% or the adjusted program, Gegharkunik region - about 759 million drams or 98.1%, Lori region - 634 million drams or 98.6%, Kotayk region - 581 million drams or 99.8% of the adjusted budget. Shirak regional administration spent 688 million drams or 99.2%. Actual expenditures of Syunik region amounted to 559 million drams or 97.4%, Tavush region - about 570 million drams or 95.5%, Vayots Dzor region spent 96.1% of funds or 434 million drams.
