Insurance Foundation for Servicemen reported on payments made from  June 2020 to June 2021

In the period from 2020 to May 31, 2021, the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen made payments in the total amount of 38.5 billion drams, of which 36.9  billion to the main beneficiaries, and 1.5 billion drams - within the  framework of the "Kamurj" program. This is stated in the official  statement of the Foundation.

At the same time, the amount of compulsory payments amounted to 19.4  billion drams, of which 9.1 billion drams were transferred in 2020,  and, accordingly, 10.3 billion drams - from the beginning of 2021 to  May 31 of this year.

During this period, 8.6 billion drams were donated to the Insurance  Foundation for Servicemen, of which 6.7 billion drams were donated  through bank transfers, and 1.9 billion drams through the  Foundation's website.

The revenues received from the management in total amounted to 3.2  billion drams, of which 2.4 billion drams in 2020, and 789.1 million  drams from the beginning of the year and as of May 31 of this year.  

"Since its inception, the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen has  been tirelessly carrying out its mission, providing stable and equal  compensation to the families of missing persons who died as a result  of hostilities, as well as to servicemen with disabilities of groups  1 or 2," the source said. The resources of the Foundation are formed  by compulsory monthly payments in Armenia and Artsakh, as well as by  voluntary donations, including those received from the Diaspora.
