ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan presented to the staff of the Ministry of Finance newly appointed head of the department Tigran Khachatryan.
Speaking about significant changes in the field of tax policy over the past three years, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stressed that serious work is expected in this direction in the near future.
"There were situations when we showed the political will to make the necessary changes. And it is fair to say that there were situations when we did not succeed. I think this is the best time to show this political will, when the challenges facing our country shape the public's expectations in terms of continuing the course of reforms and increasing efficiency," said the Prime Minister.
Tigran Khachatryan, in turn, thanked Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for the confidence, as well as former Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan and the staff of the ministry for the work done over the years. He expressed confidence that in cooperation with Janjughazyan, the department will continue to work with maximum efficiency.
