ArmInfo. Babken Tunyan was elected Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of Armenia on Economic Affairs. The decision was made at a meeting of the relevant commission. 4 people voted for Tunyan's candidacy, 2 abstained.
Expressing his readiness to assist the chairman of the Committee in organizational, technical and other issues, Tunyan noted: "I hope that, regardless of political views, the meetings will be held at a high professional level, issues will be deeply and multilaterally discussed, and the right to vote will be ensured for everyone. I do not rule out heated discussions, disputes, but I am sure that as a result of everything we will be able to make the right decisions. "
It should be noted that Vahe Hakobyan, lawmaker of the "Armenia" bloc, was nominated and approved for the post of Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. As a reminder, from 2019 to the new parliamentary elections in 2021, the RA NA Committee on Economic Affairs was headed by Babken Tunyan.
