Tigran Khachatryan appointed Governor from Armenia in Boards of  Governors of World Bank and Asian Development Bank

By the decision of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan was appointed as Governor from  the Republic of Armenia in the Board of Governors of the World Bank  (WB) and in the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank  (ADB).

Deputy Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan was appointed as a  substitute for the Governor (Deputy Governor) of the Republic of  Armenia in the Board of Governors of the World Bank and in the Board  of Governors of ADB

According to the official website of the government, the  corresponding decisions Pashinyan signed on September 20.

To recall, on August 3, 2021, Acting Minister of Finance of Armenia  Atom Janjughazyan left his post, he was replaced by former Minister  of Economy Tigran Khachatryan, who left the post of Minister of  Economy on November 24, 2020. Vahe Hovhannisyan was appointed Deputy  Minister of Finance of Armenia on August 18.
