ArmInfo. During a meeting of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) on September 17, several issues related to the rejection of the administrative complaint filed by Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC were discussed.
Specifically, by the Commission's decision dated May 29, 2025, the validity of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC's guaranteed supply license was extended until February 1, 2029. The company appealed this decision, demanding that the decision made on May 29, 2025, be declared invalid and that the license be extended for the previously granted period. The Commission initiated administrative proceedings, which concluded that the PSRC's decision was lawful. According to the law, after the expiration of the period set for guaranteed supplier status, measures must be taken to ensure guaranteed electricity supply throughout the Republic of Armenia, in line with a program approved by the RA government. Meanwhile, the provisions of this program and the actions aimed at their implementation indicate that the company's guaranteed electricity supply license could be extended until February 1, 2029, at the latest.
Therefore, at today's meeting, the Commission rejected the administrative complaint filed by Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC.
