ArmInfo. The number of job seekers and unemployed individuals in Armenia has been nearly halved over the past five years, as stated by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan in a recent post on his Facebook page.
According to him, the steady increase in newly created jobs is confirmed by official statistics from the Unified Social Service. The number of job seekers and unemployed has nearly halved over the past five years.
Minister Torosyan also added that while the government reports consistent growth in job creation, the data is often met with skepticism or "unclear noise" from certain circles. However, he emphasized that the correlation between the rising number of jobs and the falling number of job seekers is undeniable. "The decline in these indicators continues," he wrote.
