Amundi-ACBA Asset Management confirms its readiness to assist in the management of assets accumulated by the Universal Health Insurance Fund of Armenia, as stated by the company's Chief Investment Officer, Hrayr Aslanyan, at a press conference on February 3, in response to a question from ArmInfo.
Recall, back in late May 2024, Samvel Kharazyan, Advisor to the Minister of Health of Armenia and now the interim manager of the Universal Health Insurance Fund, stated that after full investment, specifically reimbursement payments, the legislature has provided the Fund with the opportunity to submit proposals to the government regarding asset management. "We are considering the option of transferring asset management to pension funds, meetings have been held with management companies, and there are cerain ideas regarding the prospects for this cooperation," he said. According to the CEO of Amundi-ACBA, there have been several discussions in this regard. However, nothing has progressed beyond talks. "We reaffirm our readiness to assist in the proper management of the Fund's financial resources," Aslanyan said.
