Armenia`s communications sector has slowed down

ArmInfo. Armenia's communications sector growth slowed slightly in 2025, from 2.8% to 2.7%, generating revenue of 171.5 billion drams. According to the RA Statistics Committee, in December 2025 alone, the communications sector demonstrated 8.5% growth, generating revenue of 15.7 billion drams.

The telecommunications segment, which dominates the communications sector (92.8%), generated revenue of 159.3 billion drams in 2025, slowing its annual growth from 3.7% to 3.1%. In December 2025, revenue in the telecommunications segment increased by 6.5% to 14.2 billion drams.

By comparison, Armenia's communications sector saw a slight acceleration in growth in 2024, from 2.5% to 2.8%, generating revenue of 167 billion drams. The telecommunications segment, which dominates the communications sector (92.5%), generated revenue of 154.5 billion drams, decelerating in growth from 5.5% to 3.7%.
