Welcoming the guest, the President of the Union of Banks of Armenia emphasized the importance of such meetings in terms of strengthening international cooperation and sharing experiences.
The parties discussed issues related to the sustainability of the Armenian banking system in the face of modern challenges. They addressed the effectiveness of bank management, the development of cooperation with external partners, bank capitalization levels, and lending areas and priorities.
Hasmik Ghahramanyan, Head of the Center for Research and Strategic Analysis at the Union of Banks, presented details of the creation of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) node, implemented by the Union of Banks.
Particular attention was paid to the stable development of the banking system, operations in accordance with international standards, and the consistency of reforms being implemented in the sector.
