In Vanadzor, Lori, a regional conference on the topic “Opportunities and Prospects for Cooperation between Business and the Banking System in Lori Region” was held, initiated by the Union of Banks of Armenia, bringing together representatives of the banking system, state structures and the business community.
Converse Bank also participated in the event, represented by the Bank’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Hrant Hakobyan, Director of the Corporate Banking Services Department Sargis Khachatryan, Head of the Corporate Client Engagement and Service Department Artur Tarkhanyan and other responsible persons.
Within the framework of the conference, representatives of the Bank’s Corporate Business Department had meetings and discussions with SME representatives, addressing financing opportunities, business lending tools and market development trends.
According to Artur Tarkhanyan, Head of Corporate Client Engagement and Service Department at Converse Bank, such events are an important platform to discuss SME financing opportunities, assess business needs, and develop bank-business cooperation.
“SME financing and support for small and medium-sized businesses is one of Converse Bank’s priorities. These companies provide a significant portion of jobs in Armenia and play an important role in the sustainable development of the economy,” he noted, adding that the Bank offers small and medium-sized enterprises a wide range of financing tools: business lending, leasing, foreign trade financing, and other solutions.
