ArmInfo. The Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC has already been de facto nationalized, and the legal formalization process is currently underway, as stated the RA Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, at a briefing on April 9.
"Our ultimate goal for is to de facto recognize Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) as the property of the Republic of Armenia," the Prime Minister stated, adding that soon it will be de jure nationalized. Pashinyan assured that the process will take place "primarily at the request of Armenian consumers."
"We have warned dozens of times that this can not continue. This process has been going on for years, and a corresponding decision has been made. Currently, the ENA is under the control of the Armenian government and will remain so," the Prime Minister emphasized.
