
ArmInfo. Regular flights between Tashkent and Yerevan could launch for the first time in decades in May 2026. This was reported on the Uzbekistan Airports Facebook page.
"Flights are expected to operate once a week on Boeing 737 aircraft. The opening of the new route is expected to strengthen tourism and business ties between Armenia and Uzbekistan. Previously, passengers on this route had to transfer in Moscow, Istanbul, and Tbilisi," the statement reads.
It is noted that the route will be operated by the Armenian airline Shirak Avia, based at Yerevan's Zvartnots International Airport.
