ArmInfo.  From May 21 to 23, Yerevan will host one of the most important international wine events in Brussels, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles,  taking place  in Armenia for the first time, as stated by the RA Tourism Committee.

" This landmark event once again highlights Armenia’s role as one of  the world’s oldest wine-producing countries, while also positioning  it as a fast-growing and innovative wine destination, opening its  doors to the global wine community. In the coming weeks, the official  social media channels of Concours Mondial de Bruxelles will feature a  series of in-depth stories about Armenian winemaking, offering a  closer look at its development, heritage, and modern achievements,"  the Committee stated.

Earlier, it was reported that  preparations for hosting the  competition started in 2019. After extensive negotiations, final  approval was received in February 2025 to host the event in Armenia  in 2026. More than 400 experts from 65 countries are expected to  participate.
