Armenia`s IT sector increased state revenues by 47.3% year-on-year in  the first quarter - Modex

ArmInfo.  In the first quarter of 2026, 78 IT companies were included in the list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers.

These companies contributed 28 billion drams to the state budget,  which is 9 billion drams, or 47.3%, higher than the figure recorded  for the same period in 2025. This was reported by the consulting  company Modex.

The IT companies included in the list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers  in January-March 2026 collectively accounted for 4.4% of tax  revenues.

According to the source, 78 IT companies collectively paid 2 billion  drams in profit tax, with Digitain leading the way, accounting for  52% of the total (1.1 billion drams). Furthermore, 16 of the 20  largest taxpayers in the IT sector recorded a decrease in their  profit tax payments.

It is worth noting that, according to the Statistical Committee,  Armenia's IT sector generated revenue of 514.1 billion drams in 2025,  a 23.2% increase compared to the previous year.
